This intermediate to
advanced package covers the anatomy and physiology relevant to MR
breast imaging. Ductal carcinoma in situ is covered with MR and histopathologic
appearances shown. Appropriate protocols are given, including image weightings,
parameter selection, contrast usage and plane selection for best detecting and
characterising lesions. Reference to other imaging modalities and advanced
techniques such as MR biopsy are discussed.
